Improvements were made to the raw Water and
high-Service pump station to replace pumps, motors, valves and
piping. The improvements included the re-placement of seven 33-mgd
high-Service pumps, new 2,000 HP motors, butterfly and check valves,
renovating yard piping and valves and adding a "backfeed" line from
the Beltwood Reservoir. The estimated construction cost was $7.5
million. |
