Corridor Reclamation Plan - Irving and Grand Prairie,
Texas
The Corridor Reclamation Plan for the Cities of Irving and
Grand Prairie involved comprehensive corridor development and
reclamation planning for a 7100 acre study area.. The work involved
hydrologic and hydraulic analyses of a complex river corridor.
Analyses required the evaluation of split flow conditions for both
the West Fork Trinity River and Bear Creek. The overall project
involved the establishment of future land uses, evaluation of
recreational corridors, erosion and channel improvement options,
permit considerations and mitigation plan, and public and council
presentations using PowerPoint.
