NDM provided preliminary design survey services which included establishing aerial survey control and setting horizontal and vertical control along the 2.7 mile alignment. Specific survey tasks included field tie TxDOT control monuments and coordination with Aerial Data Service for location of ground target panels; field set 18 ground target panels and tie target panels with GPS, in and vertical locations; deed research and sketch of parcels along the alignment and adjoining parcels (including plats); field located and tie boundary corner monuments; and boundary surveys of three tracts located within UNT property. NDM completed the boundary calculations of parcels along the alignment, topographic survey in various locations to aid in boundary resolution, and supplement aerial survey in obscured areas. NDM prepared survey control map and maps reflecting proposed parcel take areas along the alignment.
