NDM is the prime consultant for the analysis and design of an 85 MGD pump station and replacement of a 20 MG below-grade reservoir. The overall project involves the development of system head curves, design of pump station with horizontal split-case pumps, design of two 10 MG reservoir cells, evaluation of internal reservoir circulation, addition of a reservoir overflow, yard piping and valves, coordination and approvals from TCEQ, reservoir assessment, and utility modifications. Also, the project included extensive stakeholder and public involvement that was associated with the zoning and platting process. This included several public meetings, City Council involvement, reservoir and site renderings, noise analysis, and pump station relocation.
