Water Resources Staff

NDM is searching for additional Water Resources staff at various levels. These positions include Project Manager, Junior Engineer and CADD Technician. Water Resources Department Project Manager The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects, developing project scope and budgets, serving as the client contact, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff and design team members. Candidates should have experience with municipal projects and or water management authorities.

Requirements:

- 5 years of experience, minimum.
- Registered professional engineer.
- Experience or coursework preferred with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, Microstation, GIS, unsteady flow, and 2D modeling.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliverables.

Education

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering

Water Utilities CAD Technician

NDM is seeking an experienced CAD Technician for our water/wastewater department. This department designs water and wastewater pipelines, pump and lift stations, hydraulic modeling, and other supporting elements related to the design of water and wastewater conveyance systems. This person will prepare working drawings ranging from conceptual layouts to detailed finished plans. The candidate will work closely with engineers in the department.

Requirements:

- 10 years of experience.
- Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D).
- Demonstrated drafting experience on water/wastewater utility projects.
- Demonstrated drafting experience on water/wastewater facility projects.
- Ability to develop solutions for a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Experience preparing construction drawings.
- Working knowledge of Revit (BIM) is not required but a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have good time management skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

Education

- High School Diploma.
- Classes or Associates Degree in AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
