C. MICHAEL DANIEL, P.E., RPLS
Mike brings more than 40 years of experience in civil engineering, consulting engineering, and land development. He has been with NDM since 1987, where he started as the Director of Surveying. Mike is well-versed in every aspect of land surveying including the preparation of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, easement and right-of-way dedication documents, platting, and construction staking.
As a Professional Engineer, Land Surveyor, and Director of Development, Mike understands the smallest nuances of the land development process, protocols, and requirements because of his tenure in the industry and his experience on a wide range of projects. Types of development in his background include K-12, higher education, hotels, convention centers, parks, municipal facilities, single and multi-family residential, office, commercial, and retail projects. He has a lengthy and broad background in all aspects of land planning and civil engineering as it relates to site development. His specific areas of expertise include planning, site grading, drainage, and utility design. He has been involved in projects ranging in size to over 600-acres.
Prior to joining NDM, Mike worked for Terra Companies, a commercial real estate developer. His responsibilities included entitlement, project planning, budgeting, and construction management. One of the projects Mike managed was Riverchase in Coppell, a 600-acre master planned golf course community.
Mike is active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS).
