Water Resources

The Water Resources department offers unparalleled expertise for projects requiring hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. These services are provided for various projects requiring design analyses, preparation of construction plans, and regulatory permitting.

NDM provides services related to the development of master plans. This includes services related to master drainage plans, master erosion control plans, and master reclamation plans.

The NDM Water Resources staff have successfully completed many projects in the field of hydrology and hydraulics. These projects include the preparation of master drainage studies and studies for drainage improvements using HEC-HMS hydrologic models and HEC-RAS, XP-Storm, BOSS-RMS, Hand other hydraulic models. Specific hydraulic studies have included unsteady 2D flow and split-floor analyses, flood plain management studies, and FEMA submittals. Our experience includes channel improvement projects, stormwater master drainage plans, municipal ordinances and manuals, master erosion control plans, stream restoration and erosion control improvements, construction plans, and regulatory permitting.
