NDM completed design-build services on the DART Orange Line. Project tasks included the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for portions of the Orange Line, coordination with the design-build team, and appropriate contractor directed modifications. These analyses included the hydrologic analyses for generating flood discharges for the LRT structures and line culverts for a system length generally located between Denton Drive (in Dallas) to a location near the site of the former Texas Stadium (in Irving). NDM was responsible for completing the guideway drainage design that included the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for parallel storm sewer and inlet sizing, sizing of drainage ditch improvements, development of drainage area maps, sizing of cross culverts, plans and profiles for improvements, analysis of track underdrains, and adherence to CAD standards and the DART QA/QC program. Responsibilities included the preparation of hydraulic analyses for a parallel stream segment and completion of submittals for a Corridor Development Certificate (CDC).
